Hi. It’s been a while.

It has been months since my last entry. The snowboarding season was just getting started then, and now it’s almost at an end with Easter just three days away, and hot temps waiting for this low pressure zone to clear out.
I’m writing this on the Wordpress app on my iPhone and I like what I see so far.
What’s new? A new house and a mortgage, eeek! The whole process has been stressful. Our realtor isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed and the listing agent is a straight up tool, period. Rick Young (rickyounghomes@yahoo.com), you are an asshole.

Does this look like a proper Formula 1 car? Good bye 2008, welcome 1994. Ugh.

Ugh

Unprofessional?

Three weeks on the new job, and I have already been advised to be “more professional next time” by someone anonymous.

I love you too, whoever you are. xoxo

I’ve been known to listen to some rap/hip-hop from time to time, usually when I’m a captive passenger in a friend’s car, or a guest in someone’s house. While the complexity and ingenuity of rap lyrics can be clever (or more often stupid) and interesting (or more often disgusting), it’s usually not appealing enough for me to waste my time downloading or waste my hard drive storing said music.

I like a song where actual instruments are involved, guitars, bass, drums, etc, and bonus points if the singer could actually, you know…sing. Find a rapper who can actually play a decent set of instruments and I will for the first time in a decade purchase his album from the record store. Find me a rapper who can actually sing and hold a proper note, and I will bear the thuggery and violence to attend his concert.

When I heard that Jay-Z was the headlining performer at the Glastonbury Festival, I was surprised. But what actually happened pretty much made me throw up a little. It would be one thing if he actually tried to cover the song, but he mocked it instead, ugh. I don’t know what’s worse, that or anything Rocawear makes.

Obama is “ballin!”

Okay, when I first got this video from my friend (thanks Will), I thought it was a fake. It isn’t, and it looks like NObama got a little game. I was and will never vote for NObama, but after watching this video I am more convinced than ever that this dude can’t be my President.

First of all, voting for NObama IS already going to be the trendy thing to do. Thanks Hollywood! And now I find out he can ball? Everything about him including his astranged brother who lives on the streets is a cliché. Second, check out the video at the 1:00 mark, he CLEARLY hacks the shooter but keeps on playing…if I can’t trust he’ll give me my foul, I can’t trust him to lead the country, LOL. Third, he’s a little too Indonesian for my liking, and the one thing I hate more than clichés are Indonesians. They have a tendency to not just make shoes, but they also steal them (my Indonesian cousin just stole these from my own home). Lastly, he’s a southpaw and the only lefty I trust is Ned Flanders, and he’s not even real. So there.
